Android takes advantage of multiple mediums of creative expression to further push art history forward into the future. Harnessing the power of electricity Andrew bends light to shape dreams. As a creative evangelist Android Jones’ mission is to inspire in a way that makes a difference and thus increase the bandwidth of human creative potential. As our collective consciousness expands, simultaneously technology continues to evolve exponentially. Android Jones has signed up for a ticket to ride the edge of this wave toward singularity and beyond into the 4th dimension.

Addicted to the light.

Android Jones brings forth a new body of electrically dependant artwork to the 99 High Art Collective on March 5th 2010. Jones draws his inspiration from the edge of reality to the corners of human perception. For Android the true medium of art is the mind. He translates the electrical impulses of creativity and imagination directly into an interface powered by light and energy. Several of his new works will be on display in custom assembled Light boxes measuring up to 8 feet in length and some over 4 feet in height. The Light Box objects display Jones’ creative effort in rich and vibrant colors. The light boxes express a frequency that no analog medium can achieve. Each work brings the viewer closer to the intended experience of the medium in which they were created.

Along with the light boxes, Android has prepared a series of Asian Raw Silk framed prints, some measuring over 9 feet in length. Two years ago, while Android was on a digital art speaking tour through China, he was formally invited to a very special Print Studio located in the heart of Beijing. These prints were born within the walls of the forbidden city, and were developed with a patented technique. They are thus a hybrid between the ancient traditional Chinese fine art silk printing, modern day color and electric precision – a one-of-a-kind high quality merger of ‘East meets West’. This event marks the first time that this rare printing process is on display in the United States.

One of Jones’ signature works is the Kosmic Kiss.

Kosmic Kiss: There are moments of human experience that are so precious, so potent, that within their action a universe is born, the atrocities of man are forgiven and two beings emerge reborn within a new realm of creation.

The Kosmic Kiss seeks to visually capture such a moment. The work is an energetic homage to the raw and undefinable power of Love. It’s a place where our empty and meaninglessness existence in an infinite expanding universe becomes significant, where new quantum fields of possibilities and causality intersect and branch off in a billion new creative directions all at once. It is the merging of two becoming one in a shared breath of new life.
